How it works
Counts calendar days inclusively or exclusively based on your selection. Business-day counting excludes Saturdays and Sundays; holiday exclusions require a country-specific calendar. Common uses: contract deadlines, warranty periods, travel duration, and court-ordered timeframes. For project management, also consider dependencies and resource availability, not just calendar days.

The formula
Days between dates = end date − start date, counted in whole days. Choose whether to include the start and/or end date depending on your need.
Worked example
From June 1 to June 18 is 17 days exclusive of the start, or 18 days if you count both endpoints.
